I was born in Massachusetts moved to Michigan when I was only five. Raised in Detroit went to EMU , quit EMU, went on the road to become a gypsy. Well not really a gypsy but the closest you can come to it without actually being one I was a singer in a band. I traveled all over the USA singing in clubs and theme parks until our band passed through Vegas.

That’s when I became an impersonator. Yup those weird people you see on Oprah, & Ellen who dress and sing like famous celebrities, that was me. I performed as Shania, Cher, Marilyn Monroe & others. I loved the work I traveled from China, Bahamas, Thailand, Japan and everywhere in between. I had been pretty successful, but was ready for change.

I knew I’d get pregnant so I just ignored the stress and we tried on.
An opportunity came up at church to be a receptionist. I knew it would be like putting a wild butterfly in a cage after all most of my life I have been self-employed and a traveling gypsy. Now I’d have to work from 8-5 in an office. But if you want a change you have to CHANGE. So I took the job. I still sang just didn’t impersonate any longer. One week at my new job and I found out Matilda was on her way. We were excited but totally unprepared.
I knew being at church was a divine set up . No more smoky clubs I got to sit all day it was great.

I didn’t want to be away from her 9 hours a day so I quit my job at church. That was before colic and reflux, and temper tantrums, and days of no sleep…but I must love punishment I still want to be with her all day.
My Pastor asked if I would do research for her upcoming book from home. Perfect! So that brings us to today.
I’m creating a new baby product that will make moms life easier it’s already a prototype and now I’m going through the process.
