  1. Great video. Fear is such a HUGE game stopper. It will even stop people before they take their first step. “I can’t do this…” “I don’t know how to start..”

Even though I’ve had my own business for years, I still notice fears whispering in the back (and front!) of my mind.

The important thing, IMHO, is to be aware of our thoughts and use techniques to change them.
EFT (The Emotional Freedom Technique) is an easy one to learn.

    Thanks for helping us,
    Best,
    Wendy

    • So True Wendy just because we’ve overcome doesn’t mean fear doesn’t try to creep back it but we have to use our Ninja hands so to speak and beat it’s booty every time it surfaces.

  2. Loved your video. Just this evening sat down with my husband and said. It can not get done in “my” time frame. I am the one who puts the pressure on myself to work through the many details of each day. It’s okay to take one day at time. I have the rest of my life. Recently I started using reverse planning. Instead of writing down everything I needed to get done. At the end of the day I write down everything I accomplished. For some reason, as of late that gives me more a sense of moving forward. • Elizabeth that is so good. Next week I’m going to share on being overwhelmed and what will help alleviate that- what you just added is such a great tip I will probably share that in next weeks video :) So glad we met.

Just wanna say…LOVE THE VID. Looking forward to checking out the rest of your site. :)
Fear has been an issue for me and I like your attitude toward it. Although I’ve been afraid to take certain steps because of judgments. This is a good kick in the butt for me.

  4. Great video, you are our own little cheer leader! I’m not necessarily fearful but sometimes just feel stuck. I have so much I want to do to grow my blog and writing career (some are implementing more ideas I got from your fabulous book!) But – ok, here is the ‘but’ you speak about in the video, with all the demands of raising active boys, running them around, volunteering at their school, running a house hold and just wanting to spend time with my family, etc it is tough to carve out time to write let alone research, market, and all the things we should do to grow our blogs and businesses. I am trying to take it one step at a time as you suggest. Some days I feel on top of it but most days my to do list is hanging over my head. So, I guess my question for a future video is, how do we stay organized and get it all done without feeling overwhelmed?! I think I’m going to have to blog about this!

  5. You have no idea how much I needed this today. I am currently working at a couple of brand new businesses. The thing about this video that spoke to me MOST was the idea of focusing only on the NEXT thing and not getting bogged down in everything. I will work at that. Love your videos. They feel kind of like getting a pep talk from a girlfriend!

    • Thank you so much Barbara I’m glad you liked it- The only reason I know about the NEXT thing is I have to apply that and remind myself of that every day. We are creative women with so many great ideas. Even if it’s only ONE idea that one can be massive. In order to not get overwhelmed- ONE step is what will make the difference- Thanks for your comment and visiting today!
