Disney Princess Car For Matilda’s Dr Seuss Birthday Party Theme

Dr Seuss Cat In The Hat Birthday Cake

We had an amazing Dr Seuss Birthday Party for Matilda when she turned one. We decorated made a Dr Seuss Birthday Party Cake, had some fun friends over, made some Thing One and Thing two cupcakes, and had Dr Seuss Birthday Party Ballons. It was quite the day. If you want more ideas I’ve got a ton of them on my Dr Seuss Birthday Party Board on Pinterest

I’ll add some really good pictures soon but I don’t think I ever posted this!
I’ve been so busy over the past few weeks that I’m not sure if I shared with you how Matilda’s party went. It was this first time mom’s first time planning a first birthday party- Wow! That’s a lot of firsts.  We had planned to have the party in the park but when I went to set up the wind was whipping it was pretty bad. I felt deflated because I knew that meant one thing- party at the house. It all worked out Ok and my friends helped me decorate so that was great.  When Matilda opened her gifts she really was attached to one in particular. Her Disney Princess car. It’s super cute and I got it on sale so I couldn’t have been happier. You push the button and the princesses dance around.

I’m 41 ( yes I”m telling my age publicly that kind of thing never bothered me ) and I still am in awe of the magic of Disney. When we were at the park the other day she hit a button and that theme music came on and honestly it was the weirdest feeling. I just got so happy. I thought to myself, ” I don’t know what Disney does but it definitely works.” And my daughter already knows that she loves Disney. I thought that was super cute.  We had a Dr Seuss theme party I’ll include the videos and let you laugh at what happend that day- it was amazing. My baby is growing up. Slow down my precious Matilda slow down.

Here she is loving her Disney Princess Car- I said she’s like me because NO ONE ever says she looks like me even total strangers on the street tell me she looks nothing like me. But she can post and smile that’s from mom :)

The Cake- Not so much LOL
